The start of the movie is a good example, and I know part of it was done to somewhat establish both main characters, but you go from that introduction of Lee and the triads, or rather a rouge branch of the triads which is never really explained, and then the whole C4 gag with Carter, which was btw, blamed as his fault which doesn't make a lick of sense. I was just rewatching it after several years, and I feel that many scenes have aged well, but the movie seems to have a lack of coherency and isn't very consistent, it seems like the movie itself is separated into segmented scenes swen together to try and make a single movie.
Generally most discussions (that aren't about how bad 3 is) about Rush Hour generally gravitate to Rush Hour 2, which is also the most popular in the series and most quoted, however, given the first movie was well, the first, and it came out in 1998, so still part of the 90's era, how has Rush Hour 1 aged?
